吴 岩

吴岩(1962-),满族,北京市人。北京师范大学教育学部副教授、文学院兼职副教授;中国科普作家协会科学文艺委员会副主任委员。著有《心灵探险》、《生死第六天》等长篇科幻小说和编著《领导心理学》、《教育管理学基础》、翻译《高效率校长的十大特征》等学术著作。主持国家社科基金“科幻文学理论和学科体系建设”,北京教育科学十五、十一五规划“学校知识管理”项目,主编“科幻新概念理论丛书”、“科幻文学理论和学科体系建设丛书”、“世界著名科学家科幻系列”等科幻系列丛书。作品获得过国家图书奖、“五个一”工程奖、全国科普奖、科幻世界银河奖、新闻出版署重点图书等。作品被翻译成多种文字,并曾赴美国、比利时、澳大利亚、意大利、日本、香港和台湾等地区讲学或访问。主持国内第一个科幻硕士研究方向。

Yan Wu(Ph.D.), Science fiction writer, four times Chinese Science Fiction Galaxy Award winner, associate professor in both education and literature of Beijing Normal University. Beginning his teaching career from 1986, published textbooks Psychology of Leadership (1996) and Foundation of Educational Management (2003). Writing career from age of 16, main works are include novels Exploring the Deep Soul (1994), In the Sixth Day-Life or Death (1996), anthologies Green-times in a Drawer (1999), Exodus (2003), Science fiction study works are including Introductory of Science Fiction (2006), Jia Baoyu on Submarine-studies of Chinese early science fiction (2006), Theories and Frameworks of Science Fiction Studies (2008). He creates the first science fiction study undergraduate course from 1991 and Master’s program from 2003. He has received funds from China Social Science Foundation and Beijing Educational Planning Committee in the research of science fiction and educational management.

The relationship between science and science fiction has been explained in various ways in different ages.The understanding of “science” is the precondition of the understangding of science fiction.That’s very important in the study of the works of Liu Cixin,who emphasize the importance of science. Science history methods has been introduced into this paper,with the analyzing of the text,to quest for the particular aesthetic character of the depiction of the science image in Lincixin’s Science fiction.

As a curbstone writer into China's sci-fi circle, Mr. Pan Jiazheng has created 30 science fictions in more than 10 years. Despite his work has received the national attention and promotion, response from the mainstream of science fiction circle is flat. The "outside heat, inside cold" phenomenon is rarely seen in science fiction of China.Based on the contradictory nature of “Pan Jiazheng phenomenon”, this paper tries to give detail analysis about the inevitability of national promotion from the text value of Pan Jiazheng sci-fi and his special identity as academician. Meanwhile, the inevitability of flat response from sci-fi circle will be analyzed in two sides, creation mode and sci-fi concept. By the analysis, causes of the paradox as well as the deep-seated cultural factors are summed up. Finally, based on overall consideration of the phenomena "scientists write sci-fi", the special signification of scientists writing sci-fi and encouragement mechanism is pointed out.

There are two core elements in the creation of science fiction, which is the science and a speculative world based on the development of the science. The masculinity of science leads to the exclusion of women in scientific field. However, as a social experiment, science fiction provides women with a space for gender criticism. Feminist science fiction has a special value and significance in the development of science fiction. This thesis aims at expounding the science fiction written by Chinese contemporary female authors. For this purpose, I selected the western feminist science fiction as a reference, described the history of Chinese feminist science fiction, and tried to position the works objectively from three aspects.

Zheng Wen Guang is called “The Father of China SF”.As a SF writer who has produced innovative works in both creative and theoretical endeavors, Zheng Wen Guang nevertheless has not been studied very closely. This paper will present his crackajack works and analyse the reason of his outstand in Chinese SF author. This paper also performs a detailed study of the influence from Social Circumstance and Character of himself on the development of his science fiction in general. Actulally, Zheng Wen Guang was always looking after the balance of Scientific Conformation and Literary Conformation. In this author’s opinion, Zheng Wen Guang’s creative works occupy a representative position in the domain of Chinese science fiction, while his SF theories have had an even more profound impact on the development of Chinese science fiction.

From 1976 to 1983, the Chinese Science Fiction entered a brand-new peak time for inditement? creation. In this period, it was tightly intertwisted with the modernity target, which is to be rebuilt for the society. In the pursuit of the modernized context, the Chinese Science Fiction was invoked and positively participated into the modernized “metanarritive” in its own discourse. However, it constantly encountered the modification of the ideology, which harmonized the Chinese Science Fiction with the theme in this times by disciplining its conception and skills. This paper tries to expatiate from the modernity angle on the creation situations of the early 1980s Chinese Science Fiction.
